Smile Suggestion required to work on MS access or SQL and then present the data in Excel

    Hi Guys,

I have around 60 Excel Master workbooks each sheet in workbook consists of 25000,20000 or sometimes 800 rows of data
I would like to know which is the best database to connect from Excel to retrieve the data and display the output in Excel interface (the display sheet)
Kindly suggest whether MS access can hold 60 Excel workbooks with the numbers (25000,20000 or sometimes 800 rows) or should have to go with SQL database for the same ?

Appreciate any help or suggestions on the same.

Access can have a DB size of at least 2Gb. A total of 1.25 million rows in all tables is not an issue.
