Your request is not clear. Suggest you provide a real life example of what you are trying to do. Maybe even a sample database file as an example. Your request is far to vague to understand and offer any advice.

I believe the design of your query is faulty. You cannot look up on a field that is null and expect it to return a record. I believe that your search should be on the Customer ID field or the verified ID field You can then put in your verified Name value. But I don't see how you can look up the verified Namae value if it has not been populated. Am I missing what you are trying to do. If so, then explain to me in simple English step by step as if we were standing in line in a coffee shop.

Re: Run query on a sub form

If click on the command button in the form then the records that having the below criteria should be displayed on th subform.
Result displayed should be the Verified ID I am selecting and the Status field should be blank. This result should be displayed as single form.
After updating the Status the records should get saved with the command button.
Again I am clicking on the command button the next records should be displayed with the same criteria.

Hope I am more clear this time.

Your explanation does not make sense to me. Explain it using the example in your db with actual examples. You keep repeating yourself. Give us a before and after scenario in your explanation. Use specific examples and not general examples as they don't make sense. We cannot read your mind. I am sure what you are asking is very clear to you but it is muddy to me.

Re: Run query on a sub form

Okay.. what i want is a form with two command button and all the filed in the table(Sample file I attached earlier) . If i click on the command 1, I want the record get displayed on the same form.I have 2 condition for that, the 'status' filed in the table should be blank for that record and the 'verified ID' that i select the filed only be viewed.
Now I will update the 'Status' and click on the command 2, then the record should be saved.
The db will be used by many users having differed 'Verified ID',so they will select their ID so that the records of their respective should only be viewed to them.Hope you can help me know and let me know if you need more details
