    fixing cell widths permanently

    I have Excel for Mac version 15.23 (160611), I can widen a cell, but when I close the document and reopen it, the cell width reverts back to normal. How do I fix the width permanently?

    This happens with text files. Are you using a text file, or an Excel file?
