need to know how to link workbook and have the data compiled

Hi,

I do understand the description seem generic but i need assistance with a query,
I have an excel sheet used to compile data in diary format and i have a separate excel database with all the years work compiled there.
I want to link both sheets in such a way that each time i use the diary to enter information it is added to the database file in excel.

The concern is that can it be done and if so can you tell me the steps as my excel file that is a diary looks somewhat like this:

wk 1
Time Monday, 16th September 2016 Tuesday, 17th September 2016
9:00am cooking classes dance classes
9:10am
9:20am cooking classes (wrapped and merged text) dance classes
...

so i add each day the information based on week and day and not every day has the same information on the same say or time and want to know if this format can be used to linked to an excel book that has a data base for more than 8 years....
I am confused as i thought this format might not work.

please help as i want to somehow keep using this diary format for my daily schedule and also have it reflect in my database made on excel.

Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
