Wildcard "like *ABC" not working inside IIF formula

    Hello,

Has anyone experienced this problem where a "like" condition inside an IIF statement does not work? I am getting no results if I include this condition in a query,
    HTML Code:
But if I simply type Like "MB_*" then it works. It is only when I use it with the IIF condition that it gives me trouble.

    Thanks

Instead of an IIF statement, why not just filter your query on "Mountain Bike" and in the Type field Like "MB" & "*"

Tough to envision a complete solution without seeing some sample of your DB. If you would like further analysis, then post a cut down version of your DB with a nominal number of records. Be sure to sanitize for confidential info, Run a Compact & Repair and then zip the file before uploading to this site.
