Backend Database Issue

Hi,

I have my database split into front end and back end.
Two users have different copies of front end saved on to their desktops. Back end is in a shared location.
All the tables are linked to the correct back end.
But when two users work on the front end at the same time, the back end is creating an additional file with the user name's name at the end.
See the pic below.
How do I fix this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes...the back end needs to be in the shared drive so the users can connect to it for reporting purposes.
