Best Way to Create Time-Series Database

    Hello,

My goal is to have my own time-series database based on daily data that updates automatically. Enclosed is my current set up where I'm querying data from websites and .csv files onto tables and then using index/match function to create my own database but I wonder if there is a better way to do this. I've only started using the power query and pivot tables a couple of weeks ago but I have seen how people use Power Pivot and Data Model for business analytics and wonder if it can be used for my time-series database.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Matt

File info: For the example (for a smaller file) I've shown what the datebase will look like but only added 2 sets of data (one web-based and the other folder of .csv files) and a starting date of April 6/2020, the real start date is January 11,2011.
