Filtering in Database does not show information needed

    Hi All,

I am creating a database for tour programs and per tour there are multiple factors related to one tour program.
The following is the basis for this tour database:
    example 1.JPG

For Generic tour name, Proposal Sheet, Tour description and Suitable for ending at the airport? only one answer is possible and thus only one row needed per tour program.
However, for Includings, Region and Ports recommended multiple aspects can be applicable and thus more rows per tour program.
I added filters to the header rows to make it easier to find the right tour program. However, if you filter the Ports recommended for example and select only one port, it shows only the information from the row the selected port is in. Thus, if the port is for example in row 2, it will show the includings from row 2 but not the includings that are for example entered in row 3 & 4, even though they belong to the same tour.

    Please find above example filtered:
    example 2.JPG
As you can see, the including 'Free time' does not show even though it is part of the tour..

I hope that someone has a way to filter one column but still see all relevant information for a tour program in this case.
    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards, Anni

Build a separate table for the includings. You will need to have a primary key and a foreign key. The foreign key will link the Includings table to the Main table. In the Includings table you will list all the "events" included. When you run your query, you link the two keys to get the result you require.

Attached is a primer on how to build your DB to ensure that it conforms to Normalization to make your DB work.
