    Need help with access form

    Hello.
We have a pre-defined form we have to use when storing boxes in our warehouse, which I have replicated in Access. I need the end user to be able to print the completed form, and then also the data needs to enter into the table. Those features are working (woot!). What I would also like to do, but have not been able to figure out, is have an auto-generated carton number appear on each printed form, that would increment by one, based on the form completed before it.

If that's not possible, is there a way to have the form display the previous number that was used, so the user can increment it manually?

Could you offer any suggestions, please? I am not hugely familiar with this program, and not at all familiar with coding.

    Kind Regards,

    Sheri

In your bound table, make the carton number field an autonumber. It could be the record ID which should be a unique ID.

Select File > Options > Quick Access Toolbar.
Under the drop down where it says Choose orders from, select All Commands.
Select Help from the rundown of orders to add to the Quick Access Toolbar.
    Snap Add.
At the point when you're set, click OK.
