Ignoring a, an, the when creating a sort or filter

    Greetings to all -
I use Access to catalog my lp collection, and would like to be able to enter titles, artists, etc. as they appear, without having to move the words "a," "an," or "the" to the end of a field.
    How can I do this?

create a helper column/field where you exclude those words. Run queries on Helper column

Are you doing this with a parameter? If so then use the wildcard * before and after the primary words in your search with the function Like
