Hi
I have a reasonably large excel table which I can easily select and copy and then paste directly into Access - it create a new table using the column headings as the field names. This works very efficiently.
But how can I do that with VBA?
I have tried various ways such as looping through each row on the excel table, creating a new record in the access table and then updating each field. I have also tried transfer spreadhseet in Access. And I've tried loading the excel table into an array and then updating the access table from each row and column. None of these are as efficient as the simple copy and paste. But I can't see how to do that with VBA.
Can it be done?
Apologies if I should post this to an Access forum?
Thanks
Max
