Question Using Excel formula in Access

    Dear Colleagues,

Please reply ASAP on this as it is hindering my work:

I have simple excel formula I wish to use inside an access update query. However Access does not speak the same language as excel and I need to convert the formula below to ensure that it works in Access.

    The Excel formula are :

    =SUBSTITUTE(J70," ","")

    =RIGHT(J70,4)

    =LEFT(L70,2)

    =LEFT(L70,LEN(L70)-4)

    =RIGHT(P70,LEN(P70)-2)

    Thanks,
    Pav.

This is a free site, members answer as & when they have time, not because you are in a hurry!
    Hope that helps.
