    Filtering Combo Boxes

I have found many tutorials online on how to filter combo boxes but none have worked for me. I want one combo box to select a category and another to choose a product based on what category was chosen. Does anyone know how to do this or a website with a tutorial that actually works?

    Re: Filtering Combo Boxes

Do you mean you want to fill the second combobox based on what is choosen in the first combobox?

How do you add to the first combobox, from a worksheet range? or additem?

I have a code that filters through a worksheet and fills combobox2, based on what is choosen in combobox1

You are referring to dependent combo boxes or sometimes cascading combo boxes.

Here is a link on how to do it.

    Re: Filtering Combo Boxes

My bad, I assumed that this was an excel issue. Here is a good link to examine for cascading combo boxes. I have used this many times.

Additionally, if you look in my signature there is a link to DataPig Access tutorials. Open this and scroll down to the three tutorials on combo boxes. Very helpful.

Post back with any issues you have. I apologize for sending you on the chase.

Start this and search down to the three guides on combination bins. Very beneficial.
