    link table to database connection

    Hello all,

I'm working on a project that brings in survey results from SharePoint, and then converts the answers into values to display as a dashboard. I have brought the survey results into excel, and then made another worksheet where I interpret those results. My question is, how do I link the two tables so that as new entries come into my linked table, they will be added to my table that interprets their values?

I feel like this is a very simple question, I just haven't been able to find the answer I'm looking for.

It would be easier to supply a viable answer if we saw some sample data, ie upload the two worksheets with dummy data so that we can see how this works. From your description of the scenario, it is near impossible to answer. Need more information. To upload files, click on the Go Advanced button and follow the wizard.

You have posted in the Access forum, but I am guessing that Access is not involved here. Will request that Admin move to Excel forum for greater exposure.

This thread has been moved to the Excel Formulas and Functions subforum. If that turns out to be a VBA solution, we can move it again to the Excel VBA forum if yout need it to be.
