Create two forms. Make one a subform of the other. Create a parent-Child relationship between the two forms.

I tried to enter the sub-form but it didn't gave me results well,
let me explain once again....
i have an Invoice Form and i want to be able to just put in the costumers ID and it should automatically fill the costumers details. but when i enter the sub-form it didn't let me enter anything to the costumer ID, i know i can just move the records one by one but that isn't what i want it to be. so my question is if there is (which i believe it is) a way to make the costumer id the search key which should automatic look for the record and put in the name and details in their place ?
