A report in excel which pulls data from postgresql db

i have report format ready.

1. i want the user to select a value from dropdown box which will contain list of order nos
2. for the selected order no, respective fields (like customer name, line-items, product name, unit price, total / tax amt, etc) should be populated

plz let me know how to implement this. thanks!
