    Combining data from two worksheets onto one and sort

    Hello all,
    I'm sure there is a simple solution to this, but unfortunately I can't figure it out. I'm a self-taught excel user who picks things up quickly, but unfortunately have trouble at the start of solving a problem (** if anyone has any suggestions re: a great Excel how-to book or blog, please let me know)

    I have 2 worksheets that I use to track (active) client processes. Worksheet A I use for new clients and B I use for existing clients (the processes are different, hence the two worksheets).

    I want to make a cover page worksheet that displays all pending clients, i.e., the clients in column 1 of sheet A and B. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to do this. I understand how to lookup the value from a cell in another worksheet, but some months I will have 3 clients in A and other 12. How can I bring the data to the cover page so as to accomodate for changing numbers of records in A and B?

    I hope that's okay. Also, for the "Pending" worksheet I tried to explain what I want to do in Column A.
