I am new here. Getting into excel projects at work so I will probably be around quite a bit if this works out! So here's what I am trying to do
I have a list of dates in 2 columns: sent and received.
I need to create a pivot table that will go to the dates listed in the sent column and compare that to the number that have been received. Some of the dates in received have not yet been inputted because they haven't been received yet. So I am trying to create a pivot table that will collect the count of dates in each specific date sent and tell me how many in that date have been received and how many haven't been received.
For example:
Sent:-----received:
1/1/13-----1/13/13
1/1/13-----Not yet received
1/2/13-----1/15/13
I want the pivot table to show something like
Jan---------sent-------received-------not yet received
---1/1/13----2------------1----------------1
---1/2/13----1------------1----------------0
and so on for the data I have inputted.
This will really help me out and impress my boss! Even though it's probably quite simple.
