Avoid N/A with plotting a chart

    Hello,
I have a set of data containing "N/A" in some cells, and when I try to plot the chart using stacked lines chart type, the chart is completely off. Would you please help me figure if the "N/A" are causing this problem and how to fix this.
    Thank you

The text will be treated as zero. In a stacked line you will need to calculate the interpolated values if you want the lines to not dip

    Hi Andy
Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry but am not sure I understand what you mean by calculating the interpolated values.
How do i do that? Is there a way you could show me the result in the attached spreadsheet. Thanks

What I mean is you need to calculate the missing numbers if you want the lines to not drop down to zero or the precending series.

attached is a very simple 3 data point example

The problem is that there's no missing numbers. The numbers shown are prices for those dates and whenever there's an N/A it's simply because there are no prices reported for the given dates.
Will there still be a way to avoid the NAs and have a continuous chart line?

If you use a stacked line then text or #N/A or empty cells will be treated as zero. If you don't what the chart to do that you need to create values.
