    Creating Pivot

    Hi,

I have problem... I'm sure it's super easy but for some unknown reason I just cannot solve it. It's really bad day...

    I have very simple table.

    Name Product A Product B Product C
    Adam 9 0 8
    Eve 10 1 1
    Adam 3 1 1
    Eve 6 2 3
    Adam 5 2 1
    Eve 8 5 8
    Adam 6 9 9
    Eve 5 1 6
    Eve 7 0 4

Sth like this. And I want to create a pivot which will show me sth like this:

    Name Sum
    Adam
    Product A 23
    Product B 12
    Product C 19
    Eve
    Product A 36
    Product B 9
    Product C 22

How to construct it using Pivot Table? Using pivot Im getting only:

    Adam 23
    3 3
    5 5
    6 6
    9 9

Or data in columns, which is not proper solution for me. Not very eligible.

    Re: Creating Pivot

It seems that it was much easier to accomplish this with formula then with PivotTable. Please see attached file with an example on Sheet1

And if you got a lot of columns or values you can also use a VBA code.

You find them in the attached file.
