I have a spreadsheet with ~10,000 rows in it. It is datalogger-derived data measuring in-stream chemistry. It is broken up into 15 minute intervals over the course of the last several months. Each data point has a Date/Time stamp in one column. I have created a line chart showing several of the datasets. I am literally losing my mind trying to add the Date as a DAY, not as TIME.
I have tried splitting out the Day and Time into separate columns, eliminating all the redundant Days from the separate column, and using that for the X axis label. Shows up as 00:00. I have tried formatting the label as Date, Text, separating the divider into every 96 rows to eliminate redundant Days.
If anyone can help me do this, I'll be forever grateful. As an aside, I have searched for the solution to my problem but can't make anything work. I can use either Excel 2010 or 2013, so a solution workflow in either would be fine.
I'm attaching the sheet if that helps. Example.xlsx
This is chart I'm trying to make - sans date labels.
