Talking Changing data source to update pivot table

    Hello

I have a data source that is linked to my Pivot table. I have had to change a name in the source, and it refreshed with the new name, but when I put a filter on the name field it still displays the original name as well as the new name. This didn't happen in 2007. Does 2013 keep 'historical' data??

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please clear the Pivot Table Cache using the following option:

    1. Right click on the Pivot Table
    2. Pivot Table Options
    3. Goto Data Tab
    4. Number of Items to retain per filed
    5. Select "None"
