    Multiple Pivots - separate grouping

    Hi,

I have the multiple pivot tables in the spreadsheet with date as a main row label. When I change grouping in one table (i.e. by month) - it automatically changes grouping in another table.
Is there any way to keep grouping separate?
    I'm working with Excel 2007.

You have to base your pivots on separate caches - since 2007 excel by default makes next pivot from the same dataset using a common cache thus gruping or filtering in one pivot influences other. You coudl call "old (ex2003-) style pivot creator with keyboard shortcut Alt D P - which comes from the Excel 2003 menu bar: Alt - D = Data menu, then P to select the Pivot chart wizard. Best Regards,
