I'm trying to create a scattergram with bubbles where my x-axis and y-axis are my actual row and column headers. I have attached my sample data table and the desired output. I just can't figure out how to create a similar chart. Thanks.

Instructions for creating a bubble chart, with sample data and sample data layout. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...749.aspx?CTT=1
1) The first thing you will need is to reorganize your data into columns instead of the table you have.
2) Then you will need to assign suitable X and Y values (1,2,3) to the car manufacturers and colors so Excel will have something numeric to use when plotting the data.
3) Bubble chart creation should then be straightforward.
4) If you feel like you need to label the axes with the text values instead of the numbers assigned in 2, you should be able to use the "arbitrary axis" technique described here: http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/ArbitraryAxis.html
