Okay, this might be a little difficult to explain. Hopefully you'll be able to following.
I have an Excel sheet that's looking at a story backlog for a development project. For each story, I have 3 sets of story points. Each set of story points is mapped to a unique sprint schedule. For eample:
STORY1 | 4 | SPRINT 12 | 6 | SPRINT 14 | 10 | SPRINT 11
STORY2 | 2 | SPRINT 14 | 3 | SPRINT 11 | 7 | SPRINT 12
Now I want to create a pivot that shows the sum of the story points for each sprint. I want it to look something like this
SPRINT # | PLAN 1 | PLAN 2 | PLAN 3
-----------------------------------------------------------
SPRINT 11 | 20 | 13 | 20
SPRINT 12 | 25 | 20 | 53
SPRINT 13 | 15 | 34 | 23
Is this possible without creating 3 separate pivots? If so, how do a 'group' (for lack of a better work) each of the story point columns with its matching sprint column? After that, I would imagine I'd need a way to tell Excel to treat the 3 sprint columns as containing the same data.
I'm not sure if this is making any sense without seeing what I'm trying to do. Hopefully someone here understands what I'm getting at.
