    Need to merge 2 tabs into 1 spreadsheet to create pivot table

    Hi Experts,

    I would like to combine 2 tabs into one spreadsheet. I was not able to do so, because it exceeds the max rows allowed in excel.
    I have installed powerpivots but not sure how to combine data using powerpivots. Please help, much appreciated.

    never used powerpivots so can't speak to that.

    how many rows of data do you have when you combine both data sets?

    I don't know, man. Do you have Access? If you do, I would export your data to a tab delimited file and import that into Access. Then from Excel, you can pivot a table directly from Access.

    I think with 64-bit MS Office, Excel has more rows at its disposal...something like 1,048,576 rows. Which version are you on?
