Analysing Blank cells in Pivot table

Dear All

I have a spreadsheet which contains the name of salesperson, amount they sold and what they sold. All these fields need to be filled in, however there are some blank cells for some salesperson as they have not filled in what they have sold.

I want to use Pivot table so I can have the name of the salesperson and how many blank cells they each have under what they sold colunm (if it makes any sense) but as the both are texts I can't seem to be bale to chose value filters to set it equal to blank.

Any help how to get round this problem is appreciate it

thanks I have included a template of my worksheet now. this s a cut down version as the sheet is very large. I want to use Pivot table to be able to give me the stats (count of blank cells under text column by name) for each sales person who hasn't entered anything in the text column and also draw a chart for those. There are other analysis I need to do as well but they are not concerning the blank cells in text. I thought Pivot table will be the easiest way of dong this.

Any help is appreciate it.
