Adapting template for 2013 to work in 2010

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time on the forum, so I hope I'm posting in the right board...

I work as a trainer in a call centre and need to keep track of the training that I deliver. The spreadsheet I previously created got quite messy after a number of sessions were completed. I recently found this template on the Office website and I really like the layout and design. However, when I download it I get the message "This shape represents a table slicer. Table slicers can be used in at least Excel 15. If the shape was modified in an earlier version of Excel, or if the workbook was saved in Excel 2010 or earlier, the slicer cannot be used"

I'm really disappointed because I really liked the look of this one. Is there any way I can adapt it to work in 2010, say with a pivot slicer instead?

Any advice offered is appreciated
