Question Grouping of one pivot affecting the grouping and formatting of other pivots from Same data

    Hi all,

I preparing a multiple pivots from single source data and these pivots are build in different sheets individually.

But everytime i refresh the pivot with new data, the grouping, filters and formats gets changed for all pivots. I have tried to remove the tick mark for auto format in the pivot options but still the issue persist.

Can anyone help me to resolve the issue.

    thanks.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the Forum.

Did you uncheck "Autofit column widths on update" from all Pivots? Also, you need to ensure you select "Preserve cell formatting on update" tick mark. This will ensure that the formatting does not get abolished during refresh.

    Hi thanks for you response.

I have unticked "Autofit column widths on update" and retained "Preserve cell formatting on update"options in pivot options. I believe this is to do more with Data cache as read in one of the thread in this forum. I am trying with options provided in the threads.

    Let check it!!!

Yes, All you have to do is to create pivot tables through Pivot wizard instead of using insert pivot tables. But still you have to untick "Autofit column widhs on update"

    Check out it works
