Question if statements for charting purposes in google sheets

    hi everyone

been a long time since ive posted in here..
my problem is that im receiving lots of data from filled out forms in the following format

    8/25/2014 11:12:33 markgabb 25/08/2014 744803 295 1348230 1318 1626
each line is obviously different but each time someone enters details they enter their usename

so you end up with something like

    7/23/2014 16:19:00 markgabb 23/07/2014 168195 170 270971 343
    7/28/2014 9:35:17 markgabb 28/07/2014 194600 176 416080 394
    7/29/2014 8:39:00 markgabb 29/07/2014 200908 177 455939 434
    7/30/2014 12:42:26 markgabb 30/07/2014 231821 179 515715 505
    7/31/2014 15:43:08 markgabb 31/07/2014 261976 182 58217 565

but with lots of other peoples usernames inserted

I would like to make a chart that updates automatically using data something like =if(b1:b1000="markgabb",c1:d1000)
ive seen information on using named ranges but I would like this to update automatically without me needing to go in and name ranges and update sorting or anything...each person enters data daily....
