Pivot table count excluding zero

Hello. I have a data set that includes values of "0" in a column. In my pivottable I would like to count non-zero numbers in that column. How can I do this?

Put the same field into Report Filter and uncheck "0"

If you have multiple fields with zero values, that you do not want to count: may I suggest modifying your data set to use blanks in place of zeros. This avoids Excel counting a zero as a value.

Thanks for the reply on this (even though it is over 5 years old)

However, your approach may not always be feasible - there are times when a blank cell is needed (there is no entry to be made, or to be made yet), and times when a zero is needed (there was no xxx counted)
