Create dynamic line on chart for current date

Hi

Many thanks for giving me the opportunity to this forum.graphDate.jpg

I want to be able to have a dynamic line based on todays date as per the attached picture, basically if anyone opens the excel graph on any date, then this date should be highlighted by a dotted or straight line per attached picture, I am not sure how to get this.

I followed your following thread but I could not work it out for what I wanted to achieve.

Hello,

The easiest way to do this is to add a series that plots the line for you.

Many thanks for your prompt response, I followed your instructions however my line is showing elsewhere instead of in the current date (green arrow), I formatted the date column as well but still the same, attached is a picture of the spreadsheet, can you please let me know what must I do further to fix this so that the line is always on the current date.
I wanted to attach the workbook but unable to find the attach paperclip button, hence the reason I have attached the picture, sorry I am new to this forum.

I'm afraid that I can't see your attached picture. Please try again to upload a workbook, that way it will be much easier to get a you a solution.

Thank you for your response, I am new to this forum can you please let me know how to upload a workbook because I cannot see a picture with the paper clip to select a file for upload

At the bottom of this page, underneath the reply window, there should be three buttons, "Post Quick Reply", "Go Advanced" and "Cancel". Click "Go Advanced" and above the next reply window there should be a paperclip icon to let you manage attachments.

Thank you very much for your help and patience in trying to help me with this, please find attached my workbook, you will notice that the green dotted line is not showing in the current date.
