Multiple shading for different standard deviation points

Hi there,
I've followed the instructions on http://peltiertech.com/fill-under-pl...-normal-curve/ in creating the perfect SD graph. Now my issue is that I wan't to show different coloured shaded areas for each standard deviation point. Currently I have -1 to 1 shaded. I now want to shade -2 to -1 and 1 to 2 in the same colour and shade -3 to -2 and 2 to 3 in another colour. Is there a way to do this? I've tried adding another series but can't get it to work.

This isn't something I do very much, but it seems like it should be as easy as adding additional "area chart" series for each shaded region you want to add. A few thoughts:

Did you create the XY scatter chart first or the area chart (multiple series) first? I don't know if it matters here or not, but I know that in several of Jon's tutorials, he notes that the order you add things to the chart can be important. In some initial fiddling with the idea, it seemed to me that Excel (2007 anyway) really wanted to see the area chart all completed and ready before adding the scatter series.
