    Timeline Comparison for Multiple Project

    Hi All,
I am new to this forum and I have a look to previous solution, but I couldn't find anything that match my needs.

I am managing 30/40 multiple projects. They all have the same tasks in common:
    1 - Notify Customer
    2- Start Fieldwork
    3- Complete Fieldwork
    4- Draft Report
    5- Finalise Report
    6- Discuss Report with customer

Ideally I would like to create a timeline comparison to visualise all the dates in one chart and visually be able to track what's happening in a given day. For example, if I open the file today, I should be able to see how many project are at task 3, how many at task 4 and so on.

I have the dates or estimated dates for all of them. I have checked the online solution, but what I don't understand is how to have a single clustered line for each of the project and the dates in the axis.

I attached a mock-up excel file to give you a better idea of the data source that I would like to use.
Any help/ comments is very much appreciated.

Re: Timeline Comparison for Multiple Project

    Hi RoyalRajan,

    Thanks for your help.
Actually what I would like is to create a timeline (bar chart) for each of the project and have the date in the axis.
I need to be able to monitor the projects over time, not just to know what happening today.
    Hope it makes sense.
    Cheers,
    Nickfrede.

    Timeline Comparison.xlsxHi,

I ended up with the solution attached. I think it would be nice to be able to display the axis value only for the milestone (start-end of each phase).
It would also great to have a functionality that allows you to highlight todays date everytime you open the chart.
I am not sure either of those options is actually doable.

    Thanks
    Nickfrede
