Hi all - Allow me to preface by saying I'm no Excel power user, and do not know Macros, VBA or even Pivot tables. If the answer to this is more complicated than basic Excel functions allow, I won't be able to figure it out in time (tomorrow-ish).
I'm working on a scatter plot with multiple series. Each series needs its own set of custom vertical error bars. I completely understand how to add in custom error bars - I have successfully added them to single-series charts previously. On my current chart, the first series' error bars worked perfectly - I added them in as usual and they showed up. However, when I went to add in the next series, error bars did not show up. I've checked and re-checked that the errors are correctly selected from the spreadsheet, and they are. I have now "added" error bars to all four series in my chart, and only the first series is visible. Each series, however, registers as "having" error bars - you can select, for example, "Series 'America' Y Error Bars" from the formatting menu.
I have tried/checked:
1. Putting positive and negative error data for each series into its own column.
2. Checked that the error bars are formatted so that the line is visible.
I'm hoping this is something to do with my old Mac and that when I open the file at work tomorrow the error bars will appear. I know you can add error bars to multiple series at a time with a Macro, but like I said, I'm not there and the issue is time-sensitive.
Thanks in advance,
Lindsay
