Using a dynamic Chart with checkboxes AND drop downs

Hey all,

So what I'm wanting to do is have a chart that brings up data dependent on what value I pick in a drop down, which is all good and well, but what is then throwing me is that I want to then use check boxes to narrow or expand what's on the chart.

I've attached two files to show you what I want to happen individually, but I want to combine the two.
So for example my drop down would have a list of employees, and the check boxes would represent different day parts.

I would appreciate any help on the matter, or suggestions of another way to do it?

Sorry I don't think you quite understood what I was after. Along with a chart that has checkboxes, I also want a drop down there to pick a name.
So say I pick "Steve" and then check the Breakfast and Day checkboxes to get the relevant information.

I have sorted my initial problem now.

However! I'm now curious as to how I can make certain columns disappear from the axis if I untick a different checkbox. Say for example my whole data range is week 1 - week 5, but I only want to show Week 1 - Week 3 on the chart.

Thank you, that's close to what I was after. I just need to figure out how to get the chart to not include the data at all, rather than just leaving it blank.

Sorry to bother you again, but I can't seem to get the last bit to work on my own spreadsheet.
Could you please take a look at the attached file, It's the "Summary" worksheet I'm working on.
The bits in yellow are what I've changed in line with your functions, but the #NUM! error keeps coming up when it shouldn't.
