Excel 2007 move chart to new sheet

Hello, when I create a chart in 2007 on the same sheet as the data, I want to move the chart to a new sheet via the Move Chart option. However the new sheet has a blue background, no grid lines and the chart is just too big so when I resize the chart, it leaves a white space where the chart sued to be. Ugly!! I tried to goto View and check gridlines (was unchecked) but it's grayed out. I want to remove the blue background and put grid lines back on the sheet but can't find how to do this. Any help will be appreciated. TIA

    Gi

Not sure what I'm missing, but it seems like you should
    1) Create a new sheet (let's say it is called Sheet1)
    2) Right click on the chart and select 'Move Chart...'
    3) Click the 'Object In:' radio button and select Sheet1
    4) Hit OK
