Use selected data from slicer

Hi, is there a way to use the selected data from a slicer into a formula?

I have a slicer with a list of project numbers. If I select one of the project numbers, I want to use this number in a vlookup to put the name of the project near the slicer. To make sure all users no so familiar with the project numbers are seeing the project name also.

I was using a pivot table before and there I just had to make a reference to the correct cell. But with a slicer I don't know how to enter this in my vlookup formula.

Any ideas?

No, the slicer is on top of the page, just above the pivot tables that are linked to it.
