Question Duplicating row labels in a Pivot Table - Excel 2011

    Hello All,

So I have a pivot table with two row labels (Zone and Ads) and two value parameters in my pivot table.

My issue is I would like the pivot table to make my first row label (zone) duplicate for every (ad - second row label) so I do not have to cut and paste it when I transfer the pivot table information elsewhere.

I have tried changing the layout to tabular (as it is now) and changing the print settings to duplicate row labels on each page but have not gotten my pivot table to duplicate that first zone labels for every ad associated with it.

I have attached the doc to this thread. I am working on a Mac. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    M

    under field setting

    on the Layout & print

    check the "Repeat Item Labels"

is that what you are looking for?

Unfortunately I already have that done but I do not see it happening in the pivot table.

The screenshot below shows my Pivot table. I need the zones (for ex mbt_bankdeals-300x600) to duplicate for every ad associated with it.

    Thanks,

    M

exactly how I said in post #2....I'm not sure what is different...you do need to make sure you are right clicking in any of the Zones Cells....I take it that worked?

if I right click on a zone cell in my pivot table I do not see the option to "layout & print or "repeat row labels". All I see is an option to change the field name and subtotals. There is nothing else to edit.

I am right clicking on a zone cell. It did work but I just don't see how to replicate it!

    Sorry for the confusion.

VBA in Mac Office 2011 does indeed support it but there is no control in Excel for it.... so you have to code it.
