Hello,
I am trying to pull pivot table information into a summary table on a new sheet. We are trying to count how many times an install was to happen in December 2014. On our data source, it comes up with a variety of dates in December (15-Dec-14, 24-Dec-14). I want to COUNT how many times in December these installs occur. On my Pivot Table, I have grouped the dates by "Month" for just the year 2014. Now I want to pull this number into my table on another sheet. I can use the formula =GETPIVOTDATA("COUNT OF ORIGINAL INSTALL DATE",'Pivot Tables'!$A$10,'Pivot Tables'!$A$11,'Pivot Tables'! $D$11). This works as I'm pulling straight to D11 on my "Pivot Table" sheet which is the months grouped to show just "Dec."
My problem stems from, if no installs were scheduled in Dec. Then no Dec column will populate in my Pivot Table and my summary table where I use the =GETPIVOTDATA will come back as a "Ref."
How can I get around this? Being able to create a formula to look at any and all months, whether they are in a Pivot Table or not.
Thanks!
