Error with PivotTable Dropdown List - Jumbled up, Values Missing and Blank Values

Hi,

I have a pivottable and I am trying to filter the Year and Month (there are columns in the data source that literally says "year" and "month"). The source data of about 5000 entries have entries from all the months in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The source data is from a table residing in another worksheet within the workbook.

It works fine for the first few days but afterwards, the dropdown list gets jumbled up. Some of the months are missing from the "Months" dropdown filter for the pivottable and year values are appearing within the dropdown list as well. I checked the data source and the data is still correct. The settings for my pivottable are such that the dropdown list do not keep a cache of old values (changing this setting does not help). The only solution seems to be to remove the whole pivottable and set it up again. But it is a lot of work to do frequently.
