Grouping of number with >< in them

i wil group the coluum that are yellow in the picture.

i whold like to group it like this

1-9
10-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-99
100-199
200-499
500-999
>1000

how di i do this.

please share a excel doc with a example

Hi,

If I am correctly understand your requirement then you need to create Pivot table.

Right click on pivot table & select Group, you will get starting & ending values which you can enter manually as per requirement.

Check attach excel file with snapshot.

i have got the group field button grey`d out and when i right click and select group i get a error (can not group the selected area).

is it becouse the , or ><?

allso i whold like diffrent sizes on the groups.

it is becouse i have some cells with <1 <10 that do that i cant use the build`t inn group functiom. but i have seen som place that i can make groups after own wish but i cant figure out how.

someone know how??

Well ideally this should not happen. What I can suggest you is try to repair Office & probably it should work.
