Question on Updating my Pivot Tables and Power Pivot in my workbook

Hi all

I have a work book with a power pivot from which I have constructed various reports using pivot tables and pivot charts. My question is as I have over 30 pivot tables within the workbook, when I refresh the data in Power Pivot do then need to individually update every pivot table in my workbook or when I go to pivot table options and select Refresh all do all the tables get updated with the new data from the Power Pivot?

I tied it and it didn't seem to update the tables in the hidden sheets. I am not sure if I done this right hence the question about when I refresh all does it automatically refresh all the data in all the pivot reports and charts even some of the sheets are hidden. If it does then it will save me a considerable time as I have new data added to my power pivot sheets every month

yes, all the data comes from power pivot then I insert pivot table for each department on a separate sheet and also insert a pivot chart using the data from power pivot. Im not sure if tis is the correct way. My data has information about activities of various departments and each table has about 20000 lines of data. I created a worksheet for each department and inserted pivot table which gets its information from the power pivot (I hope this makes sense).
