Excel : Dynamic Charts on Excel using field selection

Hi,
am a researcher working on preparing charts for my thesis,
want to know if excel have functionality like below

Table
year disease1 disease2
1990 1 5
1995 3 9
2000 4 8

i can draw chart on (Year , Ddisease1) (year , disease2) separately

is there any possibility selecting on disease1 displays chart with that data and disease2 displays chart with disease2 data instead of creating 2 charts.

If you reformat your data into the form in three separate columns

Year - Disease - Count
1990 - Disease1 - 1
1990 - Disease2 - 5

etc.

you can then create a pivot chart.

Thanks it helped a small concern pivot chart plots only bar graph could u tell me how to change that into a connected graph point.

Right click on the chart - change chart type.
