adding an average line to Stacked Area in 3-D chart

hi i found this link which basically sneakily adds an average line to a chart. tried it on a bar graph and it worked great.

im trying to get it to work on a Stacked Area in 3-D chart, but it just switches all the values to lines. i cant get it to work. is it not compatible?

if not, then any suggestions on how to go about this? thanks

You can not mix chart types when using any of the 3d incarnations. Stick to 2d area and it should work.
