Hi,

Recently upgraded XP to Windows 7, installed office 2007 no problem, experience a pivot table refresh issue as follows:

. I have two excel 2007 files (a.xlsx and b.xlsx) copied from XP,
. a.xlsx has pivot tables with connection to data in b.xlsx, data defined as a named range (track.data), data refreshes in XP fine,
. Pivot tables will not refresh in Windows 7 because the connection is set to "C:\Documents and Settings\myname\My Documents\My Data Sources\b.track.data.odc:, since Windows 7 replaced "C:\Documents and Settings" with C:\users, the connection failed,

I tried many ways to alter the connection or add new connection, even export the odc file and point to it, nothing works.

Keeps getting the same error message below:

"The query did not run, or the database table could not be opened.
Check the database server or contact your database administrator. Make sure the external database is available and hasn't been moved or reorganised, then try the operation again"

Both files are there, even the file structure (path) is setup identical as it was in XP, no file name change.

I set the trust center to trust the directory which the files are in and enabled external connections, still doesn't work.

I have many pivots setup in this report, really do not want to have to redo them all one by one.

Can someone please help.

Thanks
