    Smile Requesting Help from Experts for preparing a progress Chart.

    Dear Experts,

    I am a beginner in excel i request your help to prepare chart as attached jpg. Data sheet attached in excel for reference and chart I prepared in excel and paint. My objective is when the completion increases the progress line should crosses each target lines setted in each month. Requesting your expertise to solve my problem.

    You need to build the chart using dummy data and then link the data labels to your actual chart values.
    The exception is the orange actual line for which you need to calculate the vertical position.

    The date labels can be generated by using a series plotted as a bar chart. Then apply secondary vertical axis.

    In xl2013 you can not link data labels to cells. You would need to save your file in the new excel file format .xlsx

    or use this free addin to link cells to data labels.

    Well, I did it too with step-by-step instructions, so will post anyway.
    Labels were prepared using XY Chart Labeller Add-in (link in Andy's post).

    Note that solution follows the original idea presented in opening post.
    Labels for yellow series depend on column I and position depends on column J.
    Of course you can calculate whatever position you need and use it as yellow series values.
