Changing the order of the input data for CHARTS without changing the order in the chart

Hi everybody,

I would like to ask you for a help. I'm still rather a rookie in Excel, so forgive me if it's the foolish one..

I've got a chart in Excel based on some underlying data. My problem is, that I would need to change the order of the underlying data (1st row to be the last), but keep the order in the chart unchanged.

Would somebody know the way how to solve this issue?

Thank you very much for the response! I'm dealing with vertical bar chart and my problem is, that when I reverse the order of the categories, the horizontal axis moves at the top of the chart instead of below, where it was intially.

Is there any way one can keep the axis in the position where it initally was?
