    Excel 2003 Charting of data

    Hello All,
I have an Imports Cost Schedule where all imports are listed by various types of data. I would like to chart the data for the 3 important prices (row 10 ,row 12, and row 13) for the full list and across from column A to the last column. This chart will help
me a lot to see the changes in the prices by simply lookin at a graph.
I have tried with normal charting but no luck of getting the end result. I have also tried with Pivot Tables but again, no luck.

    Attached is a sample file.
Can anyone think of some solution please.
    Thanks you all

Re: Excel 2003 Charting of data

I am not sure what you want this chart to show, so it is difficult to give any specific suggestions. Since it sounds like you have already created a chart, so you are obviously familiar with the basic steps of chart creation. I would suggest that you upload another sample file with one or more of the charts that you have created. Explain (in some detail if needed) why these "normal" or "pivot" charts do not show the data in the way that you want. I believe this will give us a better starting place to make suggestions.

One thing I immediately noticed: you have a lot of "hidden" zero values in the table. These cells may look "blank" to you and me, but Excel knows that these cells are not blank. I wonder if part of your difficulty is based on how Excel is treating these zero values as zero. If you want Excel to ignore these values, I would suggest you review this article (http://peltiertech.com/mind-the-gap-...g-empty-cells/ ) to see some of the strategies and pitfalls of dealing with what we think are "empty cells".
