Changing background label color on chart

    Hi,

is it possible to change background label color on chart depending on the value? eg. red if value is less than 50, orange >=51, green >=90 like in the attach file.

    Thanks for help!

Re: Changing background label color on chart

You can do it by adding additional series that display formatted data label based on result of formula.

First move the 2nd series to the primary axis and set overlap to 100.
add 3 new series and move to secondary axis.
format the fill to none, set overalp to 100
format each series data label as requried

The example attached has the changes made to first chart only

Great you already got an answer, too bad it's crosposted on http://www.excelforum.pl/topics5/kol...ie-vt46249.htm :-(

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

Read and follow: http://www.excelforum.com/forum-rule...rum-rules.html - for instance answered threads shall be marked CLOSED
